Passport Requirements:
Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay in Russia, with at least two adjacent blank passport pages available for Russian visa stamps. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Russian visas.
Russian Visa Application Form:
Original Russia visa application completed online, printed and signed, plus one copy. For multiple entry requests two original signed applications, plus one copy, are required. *Important: - You must have the visa invitation information or obtain it from your inviting organization before you can complete the application form. - You must save the Application ID and remember the password in case you need to make any changes or corrections to the application. - When asked to select the location where you will be applying for your visa choose “Visa Application Center ILS (city)”. - For applications to be filed in New York or San Francisco, single or double entry visas can only be processed as Rush processing, unless using a telex invitation. If choosing regular processing without a telex invitation please follow instructions for a Business 3 year visa.
Photo Requirements:
One recent 1 3/8 x 1 3/4 inch passport style photograph - head and shoulders, face forward, neutral expression, in color, and with a plain/white background. The applicant should not wear glasses in the photo unless the photo in the original passport includes glasses. Photos with glasses must not have glare or reflection in the lenses.
OR - you can upload a passport photo when you place your order, instead of providing physical passport photos.

Official Invitation from Russia:
Original invitation issued by the Russian Federal Migration Services – OR – if the official Russian visa invitation was submitted directly to the Embassy of Russia or Russian Consulate, provide a record of the telex visa invitation number and date the telex should be received by the Consulate. The original invitation from Russia or telex number is required. Information from the invitation is needed to complete the Russian Visa Application Form. You must have the invitation, or have the information from your host, before you can fill out the new Russia visa application form. Travisa is able to obtain the official business invitation for you. To request this service, simply complete the form included with your Visa Application Kit once you place your order.
Proof Of Departure:
Emergency requests must be submitted with an itinerary or copy of tickets.
Country of Origin:
Former citizens of the USSR or the Russian Federation must submit documentation confirming they are no longer citizens of the Russian Federation. such as "Visa to Israel", or stamp in their passport saying that they left for "permanent residence abroad" before February, 06 1992, or an official document certifying their Russian citizenship was renounced.

Russia Visa Validity:
Russian visas are issued for single, double or multiple entries. The dates of validity and the number of entries are determined according to the dates and number of entries specified on the official invitation, at the discretion of the Russian Consulate.
Register your trip with the US Embassy in Russia:
The US State Department strongly encourages American citizens planning international travel to register with the US Embassy(s) in the countries they plan to visit. Registration notifies the US Embassy in each country of your travel plans and enrolls you in the State Department travel advisory and warnings program. Feel more secure about your international travels by having Travisa register your trip with the US Department of State; simply complete the form on your visa application kit after placing your order.

Two copies of official Tourist Voucher and Confirmation invitation issued by a Russian hotel, travel agency or joint venture registered as a tourist company with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A copy of the tourist Voucher and Confirmation should be carried with your passport and Russian visa.Travisa is able to obtain the Russian Tourist Voucher invitation for you. To request this service, simply complete the form included in the Visa Application Kit, sent to you once you place your order.
Minors:
For accompanying children the Russian visa application form can be completed and signed by a parent. In the case where a minor child's Russia visa application is being submitted separately from the parents' Russia visa applications, a photocopy of the child's birth certificate and the parents' passport information page and an original signed letter from at least one parent must be included authorizing the Russian Consulate to issue the Russian visa and explaining who the minor will be traveling with to Russia.New York: A photocopy of a minor's birth certificate and copies of both parents' passport information page is required even if traveling together with parents.
Tourist visas can be issued for single or double entries for a maximum stay of 30 days. Visa validity and number of entries are issued according to the dates and number of entries specified on the official Tourist Voucher and Confirmation, at the discretion of the Russian Consulate.
